We are pleased to announce that we have acquired land in the Annex Kyoto Miwa Industrial Park of Osadano Industrial Park in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto to be used for our production site.
One of our major products, which are packing materials for liquid chromatography, is manufactured at Komatsu Works in Ishikawa, Japan. However, we anticipate lack of supply capability in the future with high demands and diversity of biopharmaceuticals purification.
In order to improve this situation, a new plant with the latest, efficient and laborsaving equipments will be established in this high expandable industrial park where one can enjoy good traffic accessibility from our head office and Kyoto Research Laboratories both located in Kyoto city.
By this expansion, we will also expect to meet requests from major overseas pharmaceutical companies of securing BCP policy by production at two sites.
Industrial scale purification of pharmaceutical raw materials business, which was started in earnest previous year, leads to an increase in demand for a new site and we would like to develop it further, serving as a base of biopharmaceuticals purification.
