Quality control of biopharmaceuticals

Biopharmaceuticals, such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), contain impurities derived from the host cell and related substances, as they are often produced from cell cultures and are easily denatured compared with low-molecular-weight pharmaceuticals.
